Christmas Time is here... and so is another Event!

Deep roots are not reached by the frost... but toes are! Brrr!

Merry Christmas, everyone! Here's a great activity that you can do with your family on these wintry evenings. In accordance with the season, here's the Allegiance Middle-earth Event. These will have a dead-line for the end of the month in which they are issued, but will not be monthly.

Your challenge...

To make a Christmas cookie of any "The Hobbit" or "The Lord of The Rings" character! Get the frosting and sprinkles! It can be made out of any kind of cookie you wish (gingerbread, sugar cookie, shortbread, etc.), as long as the design is of a character from either "The Hobbit" or "The Lord of The Rings." Your cookie will be judged on detail and attention to the individual personality of the character.

Requirements/Important Notes:

1. You must be an A.M.E. member to submit an entry. If you aren't, click here to join the Allegiance! It's easy and free!

2. Your submission must include your membership name. By submitting an entry, you agree to have the image of your cookie (which you will attach to the entry) associated with your membership name posted publicly on the A.M.E. website.

3. The cookie is clearly of a specific character from either "The Hobbit" or "The Lord of The Rings". For example, you can do a Legolas, Arwen, or Galadriel cookie, but not just an "Elf cookie." Another instance is you can do a Merry, Pippin, or Samwise cookie, but not just a "Hobbit cookie." It doesn't have to be a Picasso, but please put real effort into it. It's edible art! ;)

4. You can design the character cookie using anything from candy, to frosting, to sprinkles! As long as it's edible.

5. Your submission must include the name of the character and which it is from. Example: "My cookie is of _________ from ____________."

6. Submissions may be sent to: allegianceofmiddleearth@gmail.com

7. There is ONE winner. However, I do plan on posting all entries.

8. Entries per person are unlimited.

9. Due to this being early on in A.M.E. Events, there is no prize except for bragging rights. I hope to have tangible prizes in the future!
