Personal Note: I purchased this item for my Halloween costume this year (which I am hoping to take a picture in soon for the About page). It comes on a necklace chain and has the pin in the back. In my opinion, it is well made and pretty accurate in appearance. The chain can easily be removed with metal pliers by undoing a link. I had to do this for mine, and the chain is not attached to the actual brooch so you're not harming it by removing the chain. I would recommend it! Great product for a great price!
